What determines the price
These factors carry weight
Not every factor weighs the same. The bars show what moves the price most strongly – from the route at the very top down to driver and overnight stays.
The bars are a rule of thumb, not an exact share of the calculation. What is weighted is what matters most on the majority of trips.
Distance & driving time
Kilometres driven, pure driving time and waiting time on site – the biggest lever on the price.
Coach & equipment
From minibus to double-decker, with or without Wi-Fi, on-board galley and comfort seating.
Group size
8 or 81 seats decide the size of the coach – and the price per person.
Date & season
Weekends, holidays and peak season are in higher demand than a Tuesday in November.
Driver & overnight stays
Wages, statutory driving times and – on multi-day trips – a second driver or an overnight stay.
