What it costs to rent a minivan with driver

We do not quote a flat rate here, because in our view that would be dishonest. The costs vary a great deal from case to case and are made up of the distance, the length of the assignment, waiting times between trips and the fit-out of the vehicle. Whether three or seven people travel changes the price relatively little, because the driver and the kilometres determine the cost.

With several vehicles operating together, coordination from a single source pays off: one contact person, one point of agreement, one invoice, instead of organising each vehicle separately.

Renting a minivan with driver: questions and answers

How many people fit in a minivan?

Up to seven passengers plus the chauffeur. If more people are travelling, we combine several vans or switch to the minibus with up to 17 seats. When there is a lot of luggage, we plan one size larger, because otherwise the boot space is not enough.

What is the difference between a minivan, a business van and a VIP van?

The vehicle class is the same, the fit-out differs. The business van has higher-quality seating and technical extras, sometimes with a conference table. The VIP van adds a more refined interior and further amenities. Tell us what suits the occasion.

Is a chauffeur always included?

Yes. We only rent out with a driver; we do not offer self-drive rental. The chauffeurs come from our vetted partner network and know the local area.

How much luggage fits in a minivan?

One item of luggage per passenger weighing 25 to 30 kilograms is part of the agreed service. With a full occupancy of seven people, the boot space still gets tight, especially for airport transfers with large suitcases. Let us know the amount of luggage in your request, then we plan accordingly.

Can several vans travel at the same time?

Yes, this is one of the most common cases. For events and airport transfers we provide entire van fleets with coordinated times and meeting points. The coordination runs through a single contact person, even when ten vehicles are in use.

Can the vehicle be branded?

Yes, the vehicle and, on request, the chauffeur's clothing can be designed in your own style. This needs lead time, because design, production and applying the wrap all take time. So please mention the wish early in your request.

Can I add drinks on board?

Yes. Mention the wish in your request, then we clarify with the partner what is possible in the intended vehicle and note it in the offer as a separate item. The same applies to catering, guest gifts or on-board support.

Is a minivan suitable for day trips?

Yes, for example for shore excursions from a cruise ship or city trips with small groups. The chauffeur stays available throughout the day, and waiting times between stops are factored in. We agree the route and stops in advance.

Does a minivan also travel abroad?

Yes, cross-border trips are possible. Tolls, ferry fees and any driver overnight stays are then added and listed separately in the offer. State the destination and duration in your request, then we clarify the details.

How short-notice can I book a minivan?

Thanks to the nationwide network, a lot can be arranged at short notice, especially for individual vehicles. With several vehicles at the same time and during trade-fair periods it gets tight much earlier. When in doubt, simply ask and we will quickly tell you what is possible.
